From Paganini’s fiery brilliance and Piatti’s dazzling Tarantella to the lyrical beauty of Fauré’s Élégie and the passion of Chopin’s Cello Sonata, this concert promises sparks of excitement and moments of profound intimacy. Experience chamber music at its most thrilling, whether in the stunning sanctuary of Skidaway Community Church or the warm salon setting of Maaja Roos’s home.

AmiciMusic, the exciting new chamber music organization in Savannah, begins its fall concert series with a thrilling program featuring South African cellist Jacques-Pierre Malan and pianist/Artistic Director Daniel Weiser.  Both musicians bring a passion and excitement to their performances that produce some wonderful sparks and amazing music. On this concert, they will perform virtuosic works by Paganini, Martinu, and Piatti, plus the beautiful Faure Elegie, and the very lyrical, but unfairly neglected, Chopin Cello Sonata.
